“There was beautiful trumpet playing by Rebecca Vendemo that slow-danced through Gershwin’s honey melody…”
~ Harold Duckett, Knoxville News Sentinel
Rebecca has taught countless trumpet and cello students privately, from accomplished college music majors to six-year-olds learning their first notes. She is dedicated to approaching each student as a unique individual with different learning styles.
Her goal is to help each student reach their maximum potential by providing sound pedagogical techniques which focus on mastering the fundamentals and applying them to every aspect of music performance. Importance is placed on using proper sound production, technique, mastering scales and sight-reading.
Students are given as many performance opportunities as possible, both as soloists and in an ensemble. It is the student’s responsibility to apply the lesson material through daily practice to achieve optimal results.
